Yep. An entire week of Mickey, Minnie and the gang conducting dance parties on the ship’s deck. Also pirate night, a Halloween costume contest, live animation at dinner, “Broadway-style” live shows every night, a Beauty and the Beast themed atrium AND restaurant, and lots of silly “Adults Only” entertainment hosted by our new favorite person, Andy. Alexei took a bunch of photos for his articles for Disney Insider, so I pilfered a few of the extras for my blog. Here’s just a sampling of the amazingly detailed design of the Disney Magic:
The gorgeous Art Deco atrium & Walt Disney Theatre.
Fruity drinks! Because, cruise.
One of the restaurants on board.
The animation on the walls in Animator’s Palate were part of a gorgeous show at the end of dinner where all the sketches came to life!
The lighting here really highlights my dark circles and terrible posture. You’re welcome.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.
Meet Andy. Think Richard E. Grant, but peppy.
Halloween! There was a parade on deck, as well as an adult costume contest. Sadly, we did not win.
So many Mickeys! Also, you can just catch a glimpse of a Disney movie streaming over the pool deck. Those run all day while the kids are splashin’ around.
Seriously. Mickey everywhere.
We had a different chocolate and towel animal waiting for us every night. All in all, pretty damn cute.
